PRODUCT & OBJECT DESIGN
The table brings us together.
The light should, too.
A beautiful table can still leave faces in shadow. Intimacy depends on where the light falls.
We designed Lueur around a movable silver reflector. A small adjustment turns the light towards a face, a glass or the centre of the table.
One silver petal.
Many ways to share the light.
An oval frame holds a concave reflector.
A concealed source in the foot lights its underside.

A recessed light aperture in the foot.
A silver petal pivots within the frame.
Light can be directed without moving the object.

Silver becomes
an instrument of light.
The pivot is the product’s centre of gravity. A deliberately visible connection makes the gesture legible before the hand reaches it.
The source stays still.
The atmosphere changes.
Motion explains the reflector.
Optical design requires prototyping.

A new expression of silver.
An invitation to stay a little longer.
